Project Overview
This project was carried out by our factory for a Catholic church located in the United States. For the renovation project of the church, we chose to carve the twelve apostles statues to commemorate the deep relationship between Jesus and his disciples.
After many communications and designs, the church finally reached an agreement with us and commissioned our factory to sculpt the 12 apostles for them. The material used for the sculpture was red marble carefully selected by our factory, and we made sure that the size of each sculpture was about 2 meters to ensure that the sculpture’s details could be fully displayed.
Project Duration
The project was officially launched in March 2023, and after several months of careful design and carving, all the sculptures were completed in October 2023, and successfully transported, installed, and displayed. The total duration of the project was about 6 months, which included all aspects from artistic design, and carving to transportation and final installation and commissioning.
Project Display
The 12 marble apostle statues were placed in various locations inside and outside the church as symbols of faith and artistic displays. Each of the saint sculptures is characterized by exquisite detailing of its sacred and solemn image. The material used for the sculptures is red marble, which symbolizes strong faith and holy passion, while its texture and color make each sculpture more vivid and powerful, giving people a visual and spiritual shock.
Transportation and Installation Stage
After finishing the carving, the sculpture enters the transportation and installation stage. To ensure that the sculptures are not damaged during long-distance transportation, we tailor-made special transportation packaging for each sculpture. The transportation team successfully transported the sculpture from the factory to the United States over 1 month. During the installation phase, our professional installation team worked with the church to ensure that the sculptures were accurately placed and stably installed to ensure that the final display matched the design expectations. The entire installation process took approximately 2 weeks.
Sculpture Artistic Representation
Each sculpture was carefully crafted by our factory’s experienced carvers in a style that highlights the saints’ expressions, body language, and individual characteristics. For example, the sculpture of Peter shows his firm gaze, the customer is very satisfied with our saint sculpture, due to the refurbishment progress according to the customer’s church, the refurbishment of the church is not yet completed, but the customer will share the pictures after the completion of the project, welcome to continue to pay attention to the content of the website.
