Project Introduction
Trevi Art Sculpture was commissioned by a private hunting ranch client in the United States to design, cast, and deliver a collection of large-scale bronze wildlife sculptures for permanent outdoor installation across the property. The client’s vision was to create a series of naturalistic landmark statues — placed along the ranch’s entrance road, rock-lined water features, and open pastureland — that would reflect the character of the land and the animals that inhabit it.
The finished collection includes four bronze pieces: a Black Bear Family group, a prowling Bronze Cougar, a leaping Bronze Elk, and a soaring Bronze Eagle. Each sculpture was custom-designed, sculpted, cast, and finished at our foundry before being shipped internationally and installed on site by the client’s own team, guided by our installation instructions.
Working With Our Client — Key Milestones & Support
This multi-animal bronze sculpture project required close collaboration from design to installation. Before production, we carefully studied the ranch layout, including the waterfall wall, entrance area, flagpole garden, and pasture, to ensure each sculpture was designed for its specific environment. Through detailed clay model reviews, we refined every animal’s pose, proportions, and details according to the client’s feedback, ensuring the final sculptures matched their vision before casting.
During fabrication, we also focused on solving technical challenges, such as the eagle’s large wingspan and outdoor stability. Our engineering team developed reinforced internal structures to ensure long-term safety, while customized patina finishes were selected to harmonize with the natural landscape. From concept development to final delivery, we provided professional support throughout the entire process, helping transform the client’s ranch vision into a collection of durable and lifelike bronze animal sculptures.

Completed Sculpture Showcase
All four sculptures were designed from an original clay/mud model created in our studio before casting. This ensures every pose, muscle line, and expression is approved by the client before the bronze process begins.
Black Bear Family Bronze Statue
This grouping depicts a mother black bear with two playful cubs — one climbing onto her back, the other nuzzling at her side. Bears are a natural symbol of strength, protection, and maternal devotion, making the family group a fitting centerpiece to represent home, land, and legacy on a family-owned ranch. The tender interaction between mother and cubs was first refined in clay to capture natural weight, fur texture, and gesture before bronze casting.

Bronze Cougar (Mountain Lion) Statue
Sculpted in a low, stalking stance with its tail curved for balance, the cougar embodies stealth, agility, and untamed power — an apex predator of the American wilderness. Placed above a cascading stone waterfall, the sculpture appears to survey its territory, adding a dramatic focal point to the landscaped water feature. The clay prototype was carefully studied for muscle tension and balance to make the pounce pose feel dynamic and lifelike in cast bronze.

Bronze Elk Statue
Captured mid-stride leaping over rock, with a full crown of antlers raised skyward, this elk sculpture symbolizes freedom, vitality, and the wild spirit of the American backcountry — themes especially meaningful for a hunting ranch. The dramatic antler rack and dynamic leaping pose were engineered first in the clay model to balance visual drama with structural stability for permanent outdoor display.

Bronze Eagle Statue
With wings fully extended and talons reaching forward, the eagle sculpture captures the moment of landing or flight. As the national bird of the United States, the eagle represents freedom, vigilance, and pride — a meaningful companion piece to the flagpole at the property’s entrance. Achieving a convincing sense of flight in solid bronze began with careful wing-angle studies in the clay model.

Packing & Shipping
Once each sculpture passed final quality inspection, it was wrapped in soft protective padding and secured inside a custom-built wooden crate, reinforced internally to prevent movement during transit. Fragile details such as antlers, ears, wings, and outstretched limbs received extra bracing and cushioning. All crates were clearly labeled and loaded for international ocean freight, with full tracking and documentation provided to the client through to final delivery.

Client Feedback
After installation, the client shared on-site photos of all four sculptures in their finished setting — mounted on natural stone bases, beside the water feature, and along the ranch entrance. The client was pleased with how naturally each piece integrated into the landscape, noting that the proportions, poses, and bronze patina matched their expectations from the approved clay models and reference photos. The completed installation now serves as a set of signature landmarks across the ranch property.
